Only 30 minutes drive from the city over the border and into Victoria to Nelson where the river joins the sea.  A River boat cruise up the Glenelg River can be a relaxing way to see the sights - going via Donovans (a great fishing spot) then onto the Princes Margarent Rose Caves and back again.
